Notion Agents can now run longer jobs with built-in review checks

Notion’s October 19 release gives its Agents a computer and browser, improved context management, a “Review for me” safety-check mode, and task runtimes of up to 24 hours. It also adds memory sync to Notion MCP; connecting a ChatGPT plan is available for personal Agents, while bring-your-own-key is still a private alpha for Enterprise.

Why it matters

This makes Notion a more credible workspace for long-running research, document assembly, and operations work that needs both web access and a final review step. The caveat is important: the headline capabilities sit inside Notion’s new AI credit system, and team-level model controls and spending alerts are described as coming soon.

TURN DISCOVERY INTO ACTION

Try this next.

Give a Notion Agent a bounded research handoff: “Compare these three vendor pages, create a decision table, cite every source, and use Review for me before changing the final page.” Start with non-sensitive material, inspect citations and edits, and set a clear stopping condition. DistroCool has not independently tested this example.
